In this course you will create visual content to communicate messages. You will also learn the skills and steps in the design process. By applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, designers use typography and graphic elements to meet users' specific needs and focus on end user experience.
Design is all about ideas, combining forms and ideas and images to make a new concept for a client. The three main purposes of design is: function, communication, and aesthetics.
What is the function? How something works
What is communication? The creation of visuals that spread messages and meanings in new and relevant ways
What is aesthetics? It is pleasing to look at, will it get people to act, purchase or think
