LIVE WORK | CONTESTS

RSTA’s Creative Design program offers Live Work Contests to all scholars within the Creative Design Program. Scholars will develop and refine their design skills through these live work contests as they experience a comprehensive approach to design and problem solving in an effort to meet the clients design needs. While designing for clients, scholars are exposed to the client/designer relationship and they see their design skills valued.  

After a client has chosen their winning designs, they will return to the classroom to present the winning student designs and to give out prizes. Scholars love this part of the process, since clients will offer specific comments and insights about why each design won or did not win. This process is important for scholars to understand where they may have fallen short for the contest. These design reviews are extremely helpful for scholars to grow as designers.
