Every student and teacher in the Cambridge Public Schools signs the Acceptable Use Policy. These are the rules and expectations for using technology in school. Students discuss the Acceptable Use Policy during the first few Library & Technology classes. These policies are explained through the Morse Code and C.A.R.E.S values to help students connect with the language of the policy.
Linked below is list of digital resources that have been vetted for both educational alignment and student data privacy protections. Both "Approved" and "Not Approved" resources are listed. The information listed includes: Resource Name and Purpose, Company, Status, Grade Level and Content Area the resource is used, and a link to the contract/agreement addressing the required student data privacy terms.

In order for school staff, CPS volunteers, chaperones, student teachers, interns and/or CPS contracted vendors to be able to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape a student’s image, likeness, spoken words, student work, performance and movement in any form, a student MUST have a signed media release on file.
