This will be Mrs. Legassey’s 8th year as a School Counselor at Captain Nathan Hale School. She earned her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph in 2005.  Mrs. Legassey previously worked as an School Counselor at CREC Academy of Science and Innovation for 8 years. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, two boys, and dog Willow.

Mrs. Smith has been at Captain Nathan Hale School since 2022. She is a graduate of UCONN's Educational Psychology program and loves working with students in the middle grades.  Mrs. Smith is a US Navy Veteran, and an avid reader.  She enjoys learning new things and traveling with her husband and 3 kiddos.
