The Impact Violence has on Individuals

I was inspired to do this podcast on this topic because the actions of violence are very important to me, especially when I'm afraid to lose my family over violence. It's also special to me because people's lives are getting taken from their parents and their family and it's making me want to stand up and really give my personal feelings and thoughts about violence.

I am Aniyah and I live in Chicago. I'm an African American. some hobbies that I have is that I write stories and I make social media content videos.

We were inspired to do a podcast on this topic because we felt that even though people feel pressure to do things they don't wanna do they don't speak up on it because they are scared too. And to shine a light on the people who feel the need to pressure their peers and look at their problems.

 We were inspired to do a podcast on this topic because we had no idea what to do so I asked my mom. She listed off issues she faced and none of them really spiked my interest until she mentioned my brother and the college application process. It was really interesting to hear her take on how it worked, and I wanted to let others know as well so I dedicated my podcast to it.
