Undocumented people living in fear.mp3

Undocumented People Living in Fear in Chicago

We were inspired to do this podcast because of our identity and the people in our community. We are both Mexican - American and we are surrounded by people of the same ethnicity as us. We get to see day by day how their life goes. We get to hear their stories and struggles, one of them being undocumented. Most people here in Chicago are undocumented people living in fear. They live in fear because unlike most of us they do not have citizenship here in America. Not having citizenship here in America creates a lot  of danger and fear.

Do you want to drink at such a young age_.mp3

Do You Want to Drink at Such a Young Age?

We were inspired to make this a podcast because of how very few people talk about alcohol. We feel as if the only rule is to drink when the law says you can for that specific age or you hide your drinking from your parents. We want more teens to be aware and informed about the effects of drinking alcohol.

The Current Lifes of Undocumented Members of the U.S..mp3

The Current Lives of Undocumented Members of the U.S.

What inspired us to make this podcast is the thoughts of our own families and others' families dealing with deportation and losing their jobs because of anti-immigrant laws. I want people to think about how much these new laws and events impact the U.S. more than the government thought it would impact this country.

Black Children Against America.mp3

 Black Children Against America

I was inspired to make this podcast about black children in America by the many news stories on black children getting hurt and dying, and decided to talk about the effects of these news stories we hear frequently. I want to tell others about society and how their actions bring fear to black children and their parents.
