Looking for students whose families make less than $52,400/year for a family of four.
Students need to be accepted to a private high school (see partner schools at the bottom of this webpage) and apply for financial aid through the school.
Students must be able to attend a five-week summer program before starting 9th grade along with summer programs throughout high school AND be able to commit to participating in activities like academic study/tutoring sessions Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday morning.
Students answer two essay questions and they must be handwritten.
Parents submit answers to short essay questions as well as 7th and 8th grade report cards, 7th grade test scores, and financial information.
Two recommendations are required: one from a current 8th grade teacher, and one from an administrator or counselor.
After application review, some students and families will participate in interviews in May 2022. Scholars will be selected in June 2022.
