Overwatch 2 puts two teams of five players each into objective-based matches. Players coordinate roles and actions to achieve game win conditions in a best-of-three match. Teamwork is essential, with players often specializing in particular roles with character-specific features. With dozens of characters available and a variety of map locations, players must memorize key features of all of these factors and make continual evaluations of how best to help their team achieve victory.
