Lane Tech Esports started as a club, with students in the classroom huddled around Switches playing Smash Brothers and trying to run League of Legends on whatever computers were around.
In 2019, LTE began attending competitions as formal teams. Through the pandemic the program grew, and today LTE players have achieved multiple state championship titles and been offered thousands of dollars in college scholarships.
Our program exists to help students experience and grow from the challenges of rigorous practice, necessary teamwork, and strategic thinking. Students build perseverance and self-discipline as they work to achieve their competitive goals.
