NOLA Brass Band/ Jazz Improvisation

Teens involved in this program will learn and practice improvisational and stylistic techniques essential to the overall sound of jazz and brass ensembles. Students will delve into the culture of this uniquely American artform with rigorous studies of jazz and its natural transfer into the core of true Southern Brass Band playing. Kelly High School will provide multiple opportunities for performance and advancement throughout the school year.

This program is under the direction of Mr. Carl Kennedy and Mr. Michael McCain.
