Advanced Band

During the 2020-2021 school year, the Kelly Advanced/Marching Band students have shifted to a more project-based classroom. While the Marching Band video project (Santa's Parade/Feliz Navidad) showcased all of the band students in some form, the following audio recording projects were done in smaller ensembles of 12-20 students. Students learned some basic knowledge of recording and editing while rehearsing these large group projects. Here are some highlights of those projects.

Advanced/Marching Band students were also placed into duets and trios to work on more independent playing and balance. The "flex band" trios and band pieces allow for nearly any combination of band instruments which is ideal for remote learning and virtual rehearsals.
