Testing for the Early College Program typically takes place at ESHS two times per semester:
Fall testing takes place in October/November
Spring testing takes place in April/May
Summer testing takes place in early July/August.
Students must have and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher, and at least a 90% attendance rate.
Freshmen can only test in the Spring or Summer semester of Freshman year.
Seniors can only test in the Summer or Fall semester of Senior year.
Passing just 1 of the exams will gain entrance into the early college program, however, in order to be able to take all classes and complete an Associate's degree, students must eventually take and pass both tests.
In order to graduate with an Associate's Degree , students need to be at college level on BOTH tests:
The passing score for ALEKS Math is 46
The passing score for RTW English is 6
