The CPS Crisis Management Unit provides support to a school’s internal crisis team. The Crisis Management Unit consists of licensed clinicians who are responsible for helping schools prepare, prevent and respond to situations involving a school-level crisis incident such as:
Death of a staff member or student
Suicide ideation, attempt, or completion
Homicide ideation, attempt, or completion
Abuse
Incidents where administrators or school clinicians determine the need for additional assistance
