Professional History

I began my professional career as a 6th-8th grade Spanish teacher in Crystal Lake, Illinois and continued in this position for four years. During my time teaching, I learned that my passion is helping students with their academic, social and emotional wellbeing. I decided to pursue a Masters in Counseling and attended graduate school at DePaul University. I completed my counseling internship at a middle school in Barrington, Illinois and later went on to be a Wellness Counselor at that school for three years. I am so happy to be a part of Coonley's team!
