We are a Chicago Public School Preschool in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. We offer full day preschool programs for four year olds and half day for three year olds throughout the city of Chicago from 9am-4pm with before and after care options. Join the Catalpa ECC Community by completing the application on the Chicago Early Learning Site. We're located at 5252 N. Long Ave., and our main office phone is 773-534-8380.

APPOINTED LOCAL SCHOOL COUNCIL (ALSC)
We are in the process of forming our ALSC. The nomination period to become a member of our school’s Appointed Local School Council (ALSC) is open now until 9/17/26! Submit your nomination form at www.cps.edu/about/local-school-councils/lsc-vacancies. Print a copy and bring it to your school, along with 2 forms of ID, by 9/17/26 (3 pm). More information can be found on our ALSC tab.

VOLUNTEERING
Apply to become a CPS volunteer and list our school (Catalpa ECC). Once you have applied online, please stop by the main office so that we can make a copy of your photo ID. We'd love to have family and community members read to students, help in the lunchroom/ classrooms, and more! For more information, please see go to the General Parent Information tab.
