Brooks College Prep hosts college representatives virtually on select Wednesdays. Between 8am and 12pm. Visits are open to students from all grade levels.

CPS Post Secondary Screening Process

CPS will continue to have postsecondary representatives and recruiters from colleges, universities, branches of the military, trade schools, and postsecondary institutions complete a background check screening before accessing district schools, when held either in-person or virtually. 

All postsecondary representatives must complete the  SY26 Postsecondary Representative Screening Form annually. 

The submission results are accessed by the Office of Safety and Security to expedite the review and approval process. This allows the postsecondary representatives to attend or host supervised school-based postsecondary events and activities at all districts' schools. 

Once a representative has been ‘Cleared To Start”, the clearance is for all schools’ virtual or in-person post-secondary recruitment visits district-wide and is valid for the entire academic year. The Office of School Counseling and Postsecondary Advising will begin to accept screening submissions for the  2025-2026 academic year beginning July 1, 2025.
