Mr.La Luz
This is my 1st year working at Pulaski as a teacher. Previously, I worked at Pulaski as a Special Education Classroom Assistant for four years. I'm very familiar with the school, staff, and many of the students. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Psychology and this past year I finished my Master's in Teaching where I taught 2nd grade with some of the kiddos who will be in my class this year!
I've really enjoyed my time working with the students since I started at Pulaski. I've gotten to know and I was able to connect with many of them because low and behold the big names like Mario and Pokemon are still around today. I will be using this knowledge this school year to engage and pique students interest in school.
Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of work are spending time with family and friends, traveling, board game nights, swimming, hiking, camping, and playing video games. I also really enjoy playing with my dog Bowser who I named after one of my favorite video game villains growing up.
I'm really excited for a great year with the kiddos and wishing for a successful academic year for Room 200!
My love of travel and nature with my buddy Bowser.
Sometimes I have an adventerous side if I'm not breaking a bone.
