have 2 teachers, the special education teacher and the general education teacher. The class can have both students with and without IEPs. The teacher teaches all students together but the special education is responsible for giving the students with IEPs the services they need and have written in their IEPs.
are usually 10-12 students with IEPs and the special education teacher is the only teacher and is responsible for teaching the students the content area (Math, Science, etc.,) but also responsible for giving the students with IEPs the services they need and have written in their IEPs.
