A digital citizen who is appreciative is able to understand the advantages technology provides, inquire about the role technology plays in the lives of others in their communities, and think about how to create a healthy, balanced relationship with the technology in their life.

  • List trouble-shooting techniques for instances of online-harassment/cyberbullying
  • Model basics of correct digital communication (use of CAPITALS, posting frequency, clarity in expression in an on-line format)
  • Describe basics of what entails online/digital harassment
  • Describe the qualities of both positive and negative online "communities" and interactions

Internet Safety:

  • Identify ways in which an individual can be affected by his/her online presence (digital footprint)
