The Rick Wilson Memorial Scholarship for Dawson County, Nebraska, students recognizes students residing and attending high school in Dawson County who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership ability and community involvement.
We award a limited number $5,000 scholarships each year to first-year students meeting the qualifications, so we encourage you to apply early. By maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA, you can renew these scholarships each year at Hastings.
The Rick Wilson Scholarship may be combined with other academic merit and talent scholarships but cannot be combined to exceed full-tuition.

3.0 GPA and 23+ ACT: Selection is based on application information and Anderson Leader Day Celebration. This scholarship can be renewed by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3.0 GPA and 21 ACT: Selection is based on application information and acceptance into Midland University. This scholarship can be renewed by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
2.50 GPA and 20 ACT: Selection is based on application information and acceptance into Midland University. This scholarship can be renewed by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
$22,000: ACT score of 32 or more (SAT 1420 or more) and cumulative GPA of 3.75 or more
$20,000: ACT score of 29-31 (SAT 1330-1410) and cumulative GPA of 3.5 or more
$18,000: ACT composite of 26-28 (SAT 1230-1320) and cumulative GPA of 3.5 or more
$16,000: ACT composite of 23-25 (SAT 1130-1220) and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more
$14,000: ACT composite of 20-22 (SAT 1050-1120) and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more
$14,000: ACT test optional and and cumulative GPA of 3.5 or more, and be offered admission
$12,000: All admitted students
