The JOHNNY BAXTER CARRIAGE HOUSE FOUNDATION is pleased to announce the continuation of its scholarship program for students interested in attending one of Nebraska's Community Colleges to study in an automotive related field. A $1,500 grant will be awarded in each of the six Community College areas in Nebraska for students pursuing training for an automotive career. Students who meet the following criteria may submit the application form found below.
• award can be up to full cost of attendance at a community college in Nebraska or academically-talented, underrepresented, racial minority students: African-American, Hispanic, or Native American, attend Central Community College, Metropolitan Community College, Mid-Plains Community, College, Northeast Community College, Southeast Community College, or Western Nebraska Community College and plan to attend a public 4-year college in Nebraska complete special application and send to financial aid office of college attending

• General Scholarships: complete one scholarship application for over 40 scholarships at Columbus, Hastings and Grand Island
Over $2 million in aid is awarded annually to Central Community College students through institutional and privately funded scholarships. In addition, the CCC Board of Governors authorizes a number of tuition waivers for each campus. Over $583,000 is awarded annually in scholarships for performance in athletics, the arts and special academic achievement.
