About Me

My name is Manar Tarzi. I am a wife and a mom for three beautiful children. I was an Arabic teacher and instructional material developer for the past ten years. In December 2023, I got a job at the Orange County Department of Education as a program specialist for Multilingual Student Services Department.

I chose the IDT program at CSUSB because it aligns with my passion for curriculum development and my desire to create impactful, interactive educational resources.

On a personal level, I have always been interested in leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences. Professionally, in my current role as a Program Specialist for the Multilingual Student Services department at OCDE, I am committed to supporting English Learners (EL) by creating online instructional materials that cater to their unique needs.
