White Oak Career Day Spring 2025

We had a fabulous Career Day at White Oak on Wednesday March 26th. This was made possible by our parents, community and other volunteers. Our students learned so much and it was a great experience for them all!

Thank you to our parents: Mrs. Hewett, Mrs. Chateau, Mrs. Jestel, Mr. Muske, Mr. Holt, Mr. Heggie, Mrs. Smith-Weather, Mr. Charboneau, Mrs. Rejmenczak and Mr. Massengale. They shared wonderful things about their careers with our students.

Thank you to the students from the CEC who shared their Career Pathways in Healthcare, Engineering, Aviation, Graphic Arts and Sound/Video/Audio.

Thank you to Southern Scapes Tree Service, Newnan Utilities, Coweta EMC, our local Fire Department, Officer Josh from Newnan Police, Coweta County 911 Command Center and our own Officer Adam for providing interesting and cool "trucks" for our younger students.

And thank you to members of the community for sharing their professions: Mr. Eelman and Bambi (CAREing Paws Therapy Dog), Ms. Sockness from Best Buddy Dog Training, Ms. Tucker and Wagner (Therapy Dog), Mrs. Barnes from Berkshire Hathaway, Ms. Stevenson from BankOZK, Ms. Cimini from BankOZK, Mr. Thomas from Newnan Times, Mr. Goodwin from the Boy Scouts and our Firefighters: Mr. Weeks, Mr. Weeks and Mr. Grissom.
