If a student is having problems or issues with the Chromebook, then he or she will come to Learning Commons to complete a repair form with Mrs. Doonan. The best time to drop off the Chromebook is between 8:00-8:30 AM or 3:15-3:25 PM, but other times throughout the day are also available depending on current Learning Commons activities. Our repair company Virtucom currently picks up broken Chromebooks once a week on Thursday morning. Please remove all wireless devices before turning in the Chromebook for repair. Once it arrives back and is ready for pick up, Mrs. Doonan will email the student's homeroom teacher to inform the student that he or she needs to come by the Learning Commons to pick up the Chromebook. Repairs may take up to two or more weeks.
We are currently using the Lenovo 300e second generation Chromebook. They have a USBc universal charger. Replacement chargers are available for purchase on Amazon. Students are only issued one charger from the county. Replacement chargers are the responsibility of the students or families.
