Covington Schools have kind, respectful and responsible students. This is why I am currently in my 41st year of teaching. Thirty-nine of those years have been working in special education, Currently, I serve as the special education coordinator for the district and provide intervention services for kindergarten. I have lived in Covington my entire life where the schools have been the center of our lives. I am proud to say my son is a teacher and coach, and my daughter is an athletic director. My goal each day is to make a positive difference in someone's day. My favorite thing to do to make a difference for myself is to sit on the beach and read for a week during the summer with my family.
