The Student Council elections were held the beginning of September. Mrs. Kelly Thomas is excited to once again be the adviser after having such a wonderful year last year. One representative from each 3rd and 4th grade class were elected along with two representatives (one boy, one girl) from each fifth and sixth grade classroom. CONGRATULATIONS to the new representatives.
The student council members are responsible for several activities throughout the school year. Please make sure you always read the Chestnut Chatter for upcoming events. They are also responsible for running the school store from 7:50-8:05 each morning. This is taking place in the front area on the BUCC head. If students need to replenish their supplies they can easily purchase them at school.
We look forward to another exciting and productive year with our Student Council!
