Understanding Creativity

Creative Thinking

There is a lot going on in the minds of the artist during the creative process.

In fact, there is a new framework called Studio Thinking that explores how the imaginative and creative work of students in the art studio influences the thinking beyond the studio.

This new framework includes eight (8) Studio Habits of Mind (SHoM) and are defined below. Studio Thinking was developed by leaders in the fields of arts education and developmental psychology through Harvard University's Project Zero. Please check our the Studio Thinking website to learn more: http://www.studiothinking.org/
