Individualized Learning Plan
Individualized Learning Plan
All students are assigned a school counselor when entering high school. The counselor will help the student choose a challenging course of study as well as assist the student in gaining the essential academic, career, and personal-social skills to allow that student to pursue a healthy and enriching life during and after high school. Counselors and advisors, using the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) through Naviance, help students organize their academic program in high school as well as plan for college, career, and/or the military. The ILP is a valuable resource for parents/guardians and students. Students are encouraged to view their ILP with their parents/guardian. ILPs are state-required and are a key component in helping students navigate their way through school and through the myriad of post-secondary options. The ILP will be one of the components required for graduation. Student must complete their resume, Vision of the Graduate reflection, and brag sheet before they can present.
