Worship Service Information

Rev. Jessie MacMillan will be in our pulpit this Sunday. She will be offering her sermon "Abide in Love". The scriptures are Psalm 98 and John 15:9-17. We'll hold communion during the service.

Our Liturgist is James Smekal. James is a 3rd Generation American whose grandparents emigrated from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Educated in the Cleveland Public School System, after earning BS and MBA degrees, he enjoyed a 40-year career as a marketing executive in companies across the States. With Nancy, they celebrate 48 years of marriage. Their son was baptized at The Covenant. They served as deacons, elders, or trustees at Covenant and other Presbyterian USA churches. Jim works now as a Realtor®. He is passionate about architecture, music, travel, the sea, and sailing. They enjoy visiting family and grandchildren. They split their time between homes in Bratenahl and Béziers, France.
