Woodlands Trail

Woodlands is for boys in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Woodlands trailmen gain knowledge about outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship, and faith through fun activities, awards, and skill instruction. The focus of the Woodlands program, like all of the Trail Life programs, is to help develop Godly young men and leaders

The Woodlands trailmen learn skills in Heritage, Hobbies, Life Skills, Outdoor Activities, Pioneering Skills, Science & Technology and Values.

The Woodlands program:

• Is broken into 3 groups within the patrol:

  1. Foxes - K through 1st grade

  2. Hawks - 2nd through 3rd grade

  3. Mountain Lions - 4th through 5th grade

• Troop Meetings - 6:30PM until 8:00PM - On Thursday nights throughout the school year

• Approx. 1 camping or other activity per month

• 3-8 Service projects per year

• 2-4 special Court of Honor (award ceremony) per year
