2. Covenant University Recognition Award to SDG 17 Champion - Dr Isaac Akinwumi (2024) for his outstanding contribution to the achievement of Covenant University in the 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Ranking. In the 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Ranking. Covenant University was ranked No. 63 in the world accruing a score of 92.1% for SDG 17 and by so doing is No. 2 in Africa (behind the University of Cape Town, South Africa) and No. 1 in Nigeria.
3. Prof. Peter A. Okebukola Prize for Best Participant in Project (2024) at the 13-week practical training on the use of Artificial Intelligence for Teaching, Research and Community Service in Higher Education. A course organised by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Partnership with the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and facilitated by the Virtual Institute for Capacity Building in Higher Education (VICBHE).
