English Language TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment)
My name is Kim Ertle, and I have worked for Charter Oak Unified for twenty-four years in the English Language Department and six years as their English Language Coordinator. My passion is teaching reluctant students to write and feel successful in the process. Before COUSD, I taught sixth to eighth grade English, history, and religion at St. Louise de Marillac School. I am excited to take on this new role as EL TOSA and assist our community in supporting our English Language Learners.
