Mindful Healing | Meaningful Change
Hi, I'm Erin Rose, a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Hawaiʻi. I work with adults navigating life transitions, relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult and deeply personal moments—including illness, grief, and major changes in independence and identity. My experience with individuals of diverse backgrounds, life journeys, and ways of being guides a practice rooted in respect, flexibility, and appreciation for your individuality.
No one should have to navigate hard times alone. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and respected. Feeling safe enough to be your authentic self can open the door to change and healing. I offer a flexible approach to meet your needs, your pace, and what is most important to you.
On a personal note...
I was born and raised on Oʻahu. My love of nature led me to the rainforests of Hawaiʻi island, where I now live. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family—including our four-legged members—being in nature, and enjoying the beauty of the arts. Many of the tools I teach in therapy are ones I use myself as part of a healthy, balanced, lifestyle. I believe we all deserve to live our lives in a way that we find meaningful and true to who we are.
I am honored to walk alongside others on their healing journey and look forward to meeting you.

Recognizing that each person's journey is unique, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities. Some of these are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am also trained in the Flash technique (FT).
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) aims to enhance psychological flexibility through developing a new relationship with our thoughts and feelings - one that allows us to disentangle from them so we can focus on doing the things that truly matter to us and live life in alignment with our values.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) may be helpful for problems stemming from traumatic memories of past events. EMDR can help to process these memories and reduce distress associated with them.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) assumes that we, as individuals, are the experts of our own lives, and that with proper inquiry and coaching, we are capable of finding the best solutions to address the challenges we face.
