We have been working on Ecosystems. The worlds of Ecosystems are many and students have been surprised to find out that their own bodies are ecosystems and have to remain in balance to work correctly!

My students tell me that they learn to memorize by using music. So here are some YouTube videos students can watch at home and participate with to help them memorize their facts, both mulitiplication and addition! WAIT to be redirected -- I tried to remove ads on onece that would let me.

Students will have a spelling and definition test on Thursday. They were given the words last Thursday--so plenty of time to study.

Meet Mrs. Basinger

I remember standing at the slate chalkboard in my grandmother’s living room, telling my little sisters what we would be learning and thinking, This is what I want to do when I grow up! And here I am, doing exactly what I was meant to do.

This is my second year at Cory-Rawson, and my goal is simple: to make this year even better than last year. I want our classroom to be a place where students feel challenged, supported, curious, and excited to learn.
