3rd year Spanish is conducted completely in Spanish. Students will use Spanish to communicate with the instructor and with classmates. Students will deepen their awareness and increase their use of the 4 modes of communication: listening, speaking, reading and writing on a variety of topics: personal attributes/preferences, travel, friendship, myths and legends, nature, nutrition, etc. Students will communicate accurately and effectively to perform a variety of functions: inquire, describe, compare, debate, recount, etc. Students will increase their knowledge and understanding of the practices, perspectives, and products of Spanish and Latin American cultures.
