The HEALing Communities Study (HCS) Portal is a resource provided by the Columbia University Research Team. There you can find tools and resources such as:

• Data Dashboards 

These include data visualizations on naloxone distribution and administration, treatment services, and more. 

• Data Reports

These include reports related to opioid overdose deaths, naloxone, EMS, Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP), Syndromic Surveillance System, Vital Records, and more that are updated on a monthly basis. These reports also compare Cortland County to other Wave 2 or rural communities. 

• Agent-Based Modeling Tool

• Other key HCS documents and resources provided by the Columbia Team

You will need your own log-in credentials to access the HCS Portal. All Opioid Task Force Members should have gotten sign-up emails, sent by Columbia starting in summer 2022. If you have not or are having any trouble, please contact Aster.
