Thanks, in part, to CACTC's history as a prevention coalition, we have several campaigns aimed at preventing and reducing harms associated with the use of alcohol and other drugs.

Drug Disposal

As part of the long-standing Cortland County drug takeback program, we have a communications campaign designed to raise awareness of options for appropriately disposing of prescription drugs.

Overdose Prevention and Response

The Cortland community has done a lot of good work around naloxone distribution and overdose education. We have existing awareness campaigns around Narcan (naloxone) and fentanyl, as well as more materials developed through our involvement in the HEALing Communities Study.
