Greetings from Fifth Grade at Corpus Christi! My name is Mary Beth Dunsmore and I have been and remain committed to Catholic Education.
In fact, being a devout Catholic sums it up, in a nutshell! It was a fortunate luxury for me to have had the ability to teach within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for the past 29 years .
I am a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy University and have post graduate credits from: Millersville University, Villanova University, Montgomery County Community College and the University of Paris.
My teaching experience covers the following rades: Preschool, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and Fourth Grade.
While teaching at Epiphany of Our Lord School and Holy Rosary Regional Catholic School I directed 2 whole school productions of "The Wizard of Oz" and "Beauty and the Beast". Apart from the whole school productions, my classes performed "The Littlest Angel" at Christmastime. I rewrote the script to adapt to grade level.
Ministry was also another area in which I assisted. The highlight of Ministry was the planning and implementation of a school retreat to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestohova. Since the school was consolidated, all four pastors hopped on board and provided busing and accompanied the students on a Rosary Walk which was led by the Pastors. This was followed by the Celebration of the Mass which was concelebrated by the Pastors.
My husband and I believed in Catholic education and our grown children were raised in the Faith.
Please know that I truly appreciate the welcome which I have received as I joined the faculty of Corpus Christi and look forward to meeting both "You " and your precious"Children "
