All grades will be based on a weighted system of their total points.

*Quizzes 30%

*Math Practice 10%

Homework

I expect that students realize that homework is a valuable and necessary extension of his/her in-class learning.  Since this is such a necessary component in a students’ learning process homework will be assigned daily.  

Absences and Lateness

*In case of an absence it is the students responsibility to make up any missed work and show it to me.

*Missed assignments should be made up within the number of days the student has been absent.

*Absence on a review day is not an excuse to not take a test or quiz on the assigned day.

*If a student is absent on the day of a test or quiz, it must be mad up on the day of return.

Expectations

*Students are to respect themselves, others, and school property

*Students are to do the bet of their ability

*Students are not to cheat or copy the work of others

*Students must come to class prepared

*Use appropriate language and classroom voices

*Ask questions

Homework/Tests

*Homework will generally be given each night 15-30 minutes per night.

*1 week notice for all tests.

*Quizzes will be given with a 1-2 day notice or may even be pop quizzes

*Tests and quizzes will be from either an end-of–the-book test or will be teacher made.
