8th Grade Math

We have just begun the school year and very excited about the new series we are using for math.  We will start with chapter 1, which is a review from 7th grade math.  The students will be working very hard on these concepts.  We be working on the following topics and will be testing very soon.

-Numerical Expressions

-Algebraic Expressions

-Properties of Real Numbers

-Distributive Property

-Expressions Involving Absolute Value

-Descriptive Modeling and Accuracy

-Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

During this time period, we will have two quizzes and a culminating test at the end of the unit.
