Land Acknowledgement

STC would like to acknowledge that the Cornell College campus resides on the traditional lands of the Sioux, Kickapoo, Bah-Kho-Je, and Meskwaki peoples.

We honor them as the caretakers of these lands and waters, the Elders who lived here before, the Indigenous today, and the generations to come. We give thanks for the opportunity to live, learn, and create theatre on their traditional homelands.

It is important to acknowledge the history of the land we exist on and understand our place within that history. Let us take a moment to pay respect to their Elders and to all Sioux, Kickapoo, Bah-Kho-Je, and Meskwaki people past and present.
