Math 6

Welcome to sixth-grade mathematics! This year we will become mathematicians by exploring, discussing, questioning, and solving challenging problems together.  We will be using College Preparatory Mathematics (CPM) curriculum, which is a student-centered, problem-based curriculum. Rather than simply memorizing procedures, students will develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts by working collaboratively, explaining their thinking, and making connections between ideas. This course aligns with the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics.
