Project Summary

Ocean sustainability creates long term benefit in delivering resources to human today and in the future. However, marine pollution has become an increasingly severe issue, impacting the health of oceans on a global scale.

This game serves as an early step for individuals to visualize how future ocean floor cleanup. This Virtual Reality project attempts to simulate the underwater experience for players to explore, dive and protect the underwater world through the Oculus headset. By providing educational content that brings awareness to the marine pollution issue, players can actively involve in the movement that encourages them to be responsible for ocean protection in the real world. By enabling the users to witness the issue from a first-person view, we want to use the project as a platform to raise environmental awareness on the topic of ocean protection, and to deliver the message that individuals can make a difference in protecting the ocean.
