Reproductive System

Scrotum- houses testes externally, and is for temperature regulation of the testes, two lobed sac that contacts when the cold to keep testes warm and relax when hot to cool the testes off

Spermatic Cord- suspends the testes, involves with the temperature regulation and houses nerves.it provides vascular, neural, and lymphatic connections to the body.

Penis- male copulatory organ in bovine they have a fibroelastic penis

Epididymis- sperm will bee stored there and mature there until ejaculation

Ductus Deferens- tubes that transport fluid to the urethra, extends down to the epididymis in the testes

Pampiniform plexus- a small network of veins found in the spermatic cord

The testes produces gametes (sperm) and also produce testosterone. The sperm will travel up through the ductus deferens during ejaculations and out of the penis. The bull penis is a fibroelastic penis meaning when arousal the retractor penis muscle relaxes and the penis becomes erect.
