Richard Hansen, P.E.

Founder and Principal

A Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia with over  years of experience in the HVAC industry across multiple disciplines, Richard's specialty is technical troubleshooting of HVAC and other mechatronic systems.  

His background in Mechanical Contracting, TAB and Commissioning give him an unusually broad perspective on the interplay of mechanical systems that can lead to trouble and methods for avoiding or fixing them.

As a TAB and CX practitioner, he has performed numerous Testing Adjusting and Balancing, System Commissioning, Laboratory Equipment Testing, Containment Safety, Energy Management and Ultrasonic Flow Measurement projects.

Richard's focus on bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders and passion for educating those around him continue to build trust with clients and colleagues alike.
