As there have been only three sittings of the new GCSE exam, we need to keep these 'past papers' back to use for revision and assessment purposes throughout year 11. Our exam board, AQA, used to offer a dual award GCSE qualification called the Linked Pair and it is similar in style and level of challenge to the new AQA GCSE exam. Linked Pair Past Papers can be found on the links below. The exams were split into "methods" - testing the fluency of key skills; and "applications" - testing a student's ability to apply these methods in a problem solving and reasoning context. Both disciplines are covered in the new GCSE so completing these papers would be excellent preparation for the summer's exams.
In the folders you will find the Question Papers (denoted with "QP") and Marks Schemes (denoted with "MS"). We hope you find them useful.
These are hosted on Google Drive so you will need to use a school email address or a gmail account to access.
