KS4 - new GCSE

Exam Information

Students are now working towards the "new" GCSE exams that were sat for the first time in Summer 2017 and which give a grade 1-9 (9 being the highest) instead of a grade A*-G. We are using the AQA exam board. This info-graphic shows the rough relationship between the old grades and the new grades. A grade 4 is a 'standard pass' and a grade 5 is a 'good pass'. In 2017 79% of our students achieved a grade 4 or better and 63% gained a grade 5 or better.
