Guidelines:

PAPERS: We will follow the paper format and guidelines described in the 2019 ASEE Annual Conference found here. This is a publish-to-present conference; select the 'Full Paper' as the Preferred Format. We understand that some of you may elect a presentation or poster only however. Note that papers will be reviewed for acceptance according to this rubric.

Papers are limited to 6 pages and must include one of the following at the end of the title:

(WIP): Work in Progress

(EVAL): Evaluation

(CCE): Course-Curriculum Exchange

POSTERS: Format and Template here. Please select the option 'Powerpoint presentation' as the preferred format when submitting an abstract for a poster.

WORKSHOPS: If you are interested in leading a workshop, please fill out this form.

Note that Posters and Presentations must contain the ASEE Logo and the following information '2019 Fall MidAtlantic States Conference, The Cooper Union, New York City, November 1 and 2, 2019.'

PRESENTERS: Each accepted paper will be assigned a 15-minute presentation slot on November 2. Please review this site for presentation details.

PAPER REVIEW PROCESS: Papers will be ranked for acceptance (and for a presentation slot) according to the following criteria:

  • Connection with the overall theme of the conference
  • The ASEE best paper rubric found here.

TITLE NAMING CONVENTION: Please follow the examples below to name your paper or poster.
