TSIA 2 Testing Information

The Texas Success Initiative (TSIA2) is a college readiness test. The test includes reading, writing, and math. Did you know that your TSIA2 test scores are good for 5 years?! 

There are 2 ways in which you can sign up to take the TSIA2 Test. You can: 

1. Choose a dual credit course in your 4 year plan when meeting with your counselor to determine your courses for the next school year. The TSI school day testing window will be from November 18-22, 2024 and March 24-March 31, 2025.

2. If you are unable to test during the school day on these dates, you will need to see your counselor to request a testing ticket to take the TSIA2 test at Lone Star College. You will need to present your signed testing ticket to a Lone Star College representative at the Maverick Student Center (MSC 220). Testing is by appointment only AND you must have your 7 digit Lone Star ID number in order to sign up to test. To sign up to test at Lone Star College, visit the website here.

Students who need to re-test the TSIA2 test must:

1. See your counselor to request a testing ticket to take the TSIA2 test at Lone Star College. You will need to present your signed testing ticket to a Lone Star College representative at the Maverick Student Center (MSC 220). Testing is by appointment only. Before you are able to sign up for the TSIA2 test, you MUST have:

1. You will need to create an Accuplacer account.

2. Completed the Pre-Assessment Activity Here are instructions for completing the pre-assessment activity. 

3. Once you have completed the activity, be sure to take a screenshot of your certificate of completion. You will be required to show the certificate to the TSIA 2 proctor prior to taking the test.

Testing at Lone Star College:

• Lone Star College: 3200 College Park Drive Conroe, TX 77385

• Enter the campus ENTRANCE on West Campus Drive. Come to parking lots 6 and 7 and park next to Building MSC (Maverick Student Center). Enter the covered walkway entrance and enter MSC to the left. Please have your ID and Lone Star ID Number ready to check in downstairs at the MAC desk.
