Applying to Lone Star College & Setting up your MyLoneStar Account
In this step, you will:
Apply to Lone Star College using the ApplyTexas Application and instructions below. You will need to create your ApplyTexas Account AND THEN submit your application to Lone Star College.
Receive your 7 Digit Lone Star Student ID Number (usually within a week from submitting your application).
Set up your Lone Star Account using the instructions below to obtain your Lone Star Email Address and create your Lone Star Password.
Forward your Lone Star emails to an email address you check!
You do NOT need to complete the following things that will show up in your Lone Star account:
Bacterial Meningitis
Minor Student Parental Consent Hold
Complete the online application through Apply Texas and choose Lone Star College.

You must use your legal name as it appears on your student ID when completing this application.
Once you create your profile, you are NOT done! You will receive an email letting you know that your profile has been created. Then, you MUST also select "Start a New Application" and submit your application for Lone Star College. Then, you will receive another confirmation email letting you know that your application was submitted.
After you complete the Lone Star College application, you will receive an acceptance email within a week with your 7 digit Lone Star ID number that you will need to finish the steps below.
After you complete the LSC Admissions Application, you will receive an acceptance email within a week.
Check your email for your 7 digit LSC ID number.
Create a password for your MyLoneStar account and log into your student portal at my.LoneStar.edu.
Go to my.LoneStar.edu and click on "Reset Password."
Use the LSC ID number and answer the questions to create your password.
Once a password is created, you will need to click "Get Email Address." It will ask you a few questions and then at the top highlighted in green will be your lonestar email address. You will need this with your password in order to log into your student account.
Log into your student portal at my.LoneStar.edu.
Click on student email.
You may be asked to download the microsoft authenticator app. Follow those steps listed to verify that it is you trying to login to your account.
In the top right-hand corner, click on the settings wheel.
Click on forwarding.
Click on enable forwarding.
Enter in your personal email address you check!
Click save.
